Letters of Gratitude:
Bridging the Nation with Its Soldiers

From the very inception of Vardi, our vision has been to go beyond conventional ways of expressing patriotism. We wanted to create something that truly touched the hearts of our soldiers, something personal, heartfelt, and timeless. That’s when the idea of giving the common man a chance to write directly to a soldier was born.

Through this initiative, we invited people from all walks of life—students, professionals, entrepreneurs, homemakers, and retirees—to pen down their emotions, gratitude, and respect for the brave hearts who stand guard at our borders. Every letter carried not just words, but feelings of pride and appreciation that soldiers rarely get to hear firsthand. And we made sure these messages reached them.

The Gratitude Bicycle Ride:

A Journey of Respect and Patriotism

At Vardi, every initiative we undertake is driven by one simple belief—our soldiers deserve not just our words, but our actions of gratitude. Staying true to this spirit, our Founder, Rohit Chinchanikar, embarked on a unique journey that combined endurance, symbolism, and heartfelt respect.

As a mark of gratitude towards our soldiers, Rohit cycled from Pune to Mumbai—a distance of 155 kilometers—through rough roads and hilly terrain. But this was no ordinary ride. He was on his way to deliver thousands of letters of love, respect, and encouragement written by citizens across the country—children, youngsters, professionals, and elders alike.
